Saint Therese Caring Fund
To assist those who have lived at Saint Therese for several years, but have outlived their financial resources, we have established a special Caring Fund supported by private donations to help cover the cost of care.
When a resident needs extended health care services, but can only cover the cost of rent, the Caring Fund would provide the additional assistance. If a tenant can no longer afford apartment rent and must utilize the state’s Elderly Waiver Program, the Caring Fund helps meet the shortfall left by insufficient state reimbursements.
The deserving recipients of the Caring Fund have typically lived in our community for five or more years, participated in our volunteer activities and do not have family or other financial assistance available.
