Qualifications: Requires current RN licensure with MN State Board of Nursing, preferred certification as a Geriatric Nurse. Minimum of 5 years in a nursing home as an RN, knowledge and experience with OBRA, State and Federal regulations. Excellent written and verbal skill along with computer skills are a must.
Basic Function: This position is responsible for the oversight, management and responsibility of resident care for the geriatric population. Case Manager has the overall 24 hour responsibility for the clinical management of the residents, management of staff and the financial management of the unit.
