Heartfelt support for physical well-being

Medical
Our medical plan offers three plan levels. And, Saint Therese makes annual contributions to employees' HSA accounts. All plans offer preventative coverage at no additional cost and unlimited lifetime benefit maximums.

We offer competitive and affordable benefit packages. Employees working 30 hours or more per week are eligible to receive health care benefits.

Dental
Saint Therese has an extraordinary dental plan with preventative coverage included.

Life insurance

  • Basic Life with Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D): Benefit-eligible employees receive AD&D at 1x annual salary for no cost.
  • Supplemental life for employee, spouse and children is available to purchase.

Colonial Life
Our employees have accidental, cancer and short term disability coverage available:

  • Accidental coverage to help offset costs associated with an accidental injury
  • Financial support throughout cancer treatments
  • Short-term disability provides partial income replacement during illness, rehab or recovery

Vision
Eye exams are covered by medical plans. Our vision plan offers allowances and discounts on frames, lenses and contacts.

Fitness & wellness centers
Our St. Louis Park, New Hope, Brooklyn Park and Woodbury locations have full wellness centers. All employees benefit from low-cost memberships, no matter which community served. In addition, memberships include access to warm water therapy pools and hot tubs which are found at some of our communities.

Pharmacy services
A 10% discount is granted to employees for over-the-counter medications. Additional discounts on prescription drugs may also apply. Available at our New Hope community only.

Free flu shots offered every fall season.

Saint Therese is a drug-free, vapor-free and tobacco-free employer. 

Massage services
Massage services powered by Ascend Rehabilitation are available to employees for a low cost. (And, no gratuities accepted!)

Securing plans for tomorrow

403(b) retirement plan
Pre-tax and Roth plans are offered. Employees are automatically enrolled at 3% but can choose to opt out or select another rate. After one year of employment, employees are eligible to participate in the company match program: 50% of contribution up to 6%.

Flexible spending accounts
Employees can opt to set aside pre-tax money for eligible health and dependent care expenses.

Paid Disability Leave
Employees working nine hours or more per pay period will accrue a set number of hours to use for extended illness.

Employee assistance program (EAP)
EAP offers an array of confidential counseling and web services accessible 24/7  by employees and their families.

Employee discount program
We have corporate discounts on cell phone plans, movie tickets, concerts, the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, Valleyfair and much more.

Employees working nine hours or more per pay period accrue a set number of PTO hours to use for vacation, personal and sick leave.
