Health and Wellness Benefits
Saint Therese is a drug-free and tobacco-free employer with smoke-free campuses.
We offer competitive and affordable benefit packages to meet the needs of its employees. Employees working 30 hours or more per week are eligible to receive health care benefits.
The medical plan offers three different plan options tailored to fit the unique needs of our employees. Saint Therese makes $500-$1,000 contributions to your HSA account annually depending on coverage level.
The medical plans provide preventative coverage at no additional cost and unlimited lifetime benefit maximums.
Saint Therese has a great dental plan that provides preventative coverage at no additional charge.
Additional Voluntary Benefits
- Basic Life with Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D): Saint Therese provides benefit eligible employees with AD&D at 1x annual salary at no cost to the employee.
- Supplemental life for employee, spouse and children is available. Employees may choose to purchase up to $500,000 for themselves or their spouse and $5,000 or $10,000 coverage level for children.
Our employees have accidental, cancer and short term disability coverage available to them:
- Accidental coverage to help offset costs associated with an accidental injury
- Financial support throughout cancer treatments
- Short-term disability provides partial income replacement during illness, rehab or recovery
Eye exams are covered under medical plans. Our vision plan offers materials-only coverage including: coverage allowances and discounts on frames, lenses and contact lenses.
Flexible spending accounts
Flexible spending accounts allow employees to set aside pre-tax money from each pay period for eligible health and dependent care expenses.
Financial well-being with a 403(b) retirement plan:
Pre-tax and Roth plans are offered. Employees are automatically enrolled at 3% but can choose to opt out or select another deferral rate. After one year of employment, employees are eligible to participate in the company match program: 50% of contribution up to 6%.

Employees working 9 hours or more per pay period will accrue a set number of hours to use for vacation, personal, and sick leave.
Paid Disability Leave
Employees working 9 hours or more per pay period will accrue a set number of hours to use for extended illness.

Fitness and wellness centers
Low-cost memberships are available through payroll deduction. Our St. Louis Park, New Hope, Brooklyn Park and Woodbury communities have full wellness centers. Individuals employed in Shoreview and Robbinsdale also can benefit from membership. Several locations also offer massage therapy, warm water therapy pools and hot tubs.
Employees benefit from a discount of 10% for over-the-counter medications and additional discounts on prescription drugs. Available through our New Hope community only.
